6+ years in enterprise IT, network security, and infrastructure. CCNA & Enterprise Core Specialist certified. I have spent the better part of my career digging into the hard stuff — escalations, root cause analysis, lab reproductions — and I am ready for what comes next.
Most of my career has been at Sophos, where I worked my way from technical support up to Global Escalation Engineer. That meant owning the most difficult cases — deep dives into firewall behavior, VPN edge cases, authentication failures, routing anomalies. I worked directly with product and development teams when bugs needed reproducing.
Outside of work I run a homelab on Proxmox with Windows Server, Linux VMs, Ubiquiti networking, and a NAS with automated backups. It is less of a hobby and more of a habit at this point.
I am currently looking for my next role — something in sysadmin/infrastructure, network engineering, customer success, or solutions engineering. I thrive in environments where the technical bar is high and the work actually matters.
The homelab started as a way to keep skills sharp and turned into something I genuinely enjoy. Here is what is currently running.
NUC-based home server running Windows Server and Linux VMs, LXC containers, and self-hosted services. Keeps me hands-on with sysadmin work outside of any job.
Custom VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, and local network security on Ubiquiti hardware. Also maintaining an OCI workload for remote connectivity testing.
Dedicated NAS with automated backup schedules and file sharing, mirroring enterprise backup and recovery practices at home.
Docker-based self-hosted stack. Maintained as a production-like environment.
